Glen received his BSc with a Major in Math and a Minor in Physics from the University of Calgary. With 40 years of oil, NGL and gas marketing experience, Glen currently serves as Vice President of Marketing with Grizzly Oilsands ULC. Glen is the inventor of Zedgas, co-author of the Alliance Pipeline Patent, and was instrumental in the marketing, financing and initial business plan for the Alliance Pipeline and the Channahon, Illinois Aux Sable fractionator. This facility has a capacity to process 2.1 billion cubic feet per day of rich gas and produce 104,000 barrels per day of spec Ethane, Propane and Butane. Glen is also the founder of Altex Energy in 2005, which is one of the largest crude by rail shippers of bitumen in Alberta. Previous to this Glen worked with Unocal Canada (coal and gas storage), Direct Energy Marketing (gas marketing), Dome Petroleum (numerous gas and NGL projects and the Grassy Point LNG Project), the Westpac LNG Project (importing LNG to Prince Rupert) and Foothills Pipelines (Mackenzie Gas Pipeline).
Ph.D., P. Eng., Professor Emeritus, University of Calgary, Esteemed Shareholder
After receiving his Ph. D. from the University of Alberta, Bill worked for Monsanto and the University of Western Ontario. Later, at the University of Calgary, he developed an enviable research and teaching record from 1975 until his retirement as Professor Emeritus in 2013. During his time at the University of Calgary he pursued research in the area of dynamic and steady-state modeling of processes, in particular distillation towers. His group at the University has generated virtually all of the experimental data on viscosity and gas solubility for systems involving bitumen. Bill functioned as principal, director and President of Hyprotech Ltd. from 1981-1993 establishing it as a leading international software company. Bill joined the Virtual Materials Group (“VMG”) as its president in 2002. VMG is recognized throughout the world as a leading process simulation software company.
P. Eng., Director
Tim has a BSc in Chemical Engineering, an MBA from Queens University at Kingston, Ontario and is a member of APEGGA. Tim is President, Stauft Management Group Inc., and has over 30 years’ experience in the Canadian Natural Gas and Natural Gas Liquids Industry, including 10 years with Aux Sable. At Aux Sable Tim was President and CEO and was responsible for the development and implementation of the strategy for the company that lead to a number of significant new investments. Tim began his career as a plant engineer at a major gas processing facility, and progressed through roles of increasing responsibility to the executive level at a major international energy company. Tim participated in a number industry initiatives including the restructuring of the California natural gas industry in early 1990, major pipeline/straddle plant expansion projects, the development of new Alberta NGL royalty initiatives, re-contracting of the Alliance Pipeline and numerous National Energy Board and Alberta Energy and Utility Board hearings. Tim also spent four years as a Principal with an international energy consulting firm, and has remained an active volunteer with a number of local and national charities.
Director
Joe’s career began with a BA in Economics with a minor in Management from the University of Calgary. Joe is a Director at BMO Capital Markets Equity Research, covering the Canadian Oil and Gas Industry. Joe has 25 plus years of diverse upstream and midstream experience across all Canadian Oil and Gas as basins. Most recently, Joe was Exploration Land Manager at ConocoPhillips where he managed a team that sourced and evaluated exploration opportunities across Canada. Joe has also worked at Talisman, Burlington Resources, Richland Petroleum and Amerada Hess.

Joanne received her Bachelor’s Degree in Management with a major in Marketing from the University of Lethbridge. Joanne has over 15 years’ experience as a Marketing and Logistics Manager in the North American Oil and Gas Industry with strengths in business development, industry networking, project management, account management and development. Joanne is technologically innovative and forward thinking with outstanding knowledge of oil and gas as well as the transportation sectors.
